Why is Sunscreen important

Today I got a medical grade from esthetician Andreina Rios. I have one major bad habit to break. I always forget sunscreen. Now after her advice I have some in purse and in my car.

"It is ALWAYS very important to wear sunscreen, starting from the age of 2! 80 percent of sun damage is done by the age of 18, we must protect our skin from premature aging.

A free radical is an unstable molecule created by sunlight, pollution, cigarette smoke, etc...these free radicals lead to cellular destruction and strip our skin of essential vitamins. Therefore, we must load our skin up with "free radical scavengers", also known as antioxidants. Load up with antioxidants in the morning in preparation for free radical attacks. Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant.

Vitamin A is essential for healthy skin, definitely a must have. It is the only vitamin that can penetrate into the DNA to normalize the entire activity of the cells. It protects skin types against skin cancer, increases collagen and elastin production, regulates sebum, and rejuvenated skin tone and texture.

Hope your skin is feeling fabulous! Remember to stay hydrated and moisturized! See you soon:-)"
